EP Limited

EP Limited is a small company with offices and labs in Somerville Massachusetts. EP Limited was founded in 1995 by Patrick Hamilton and Michael Curley to research novel diagnostic and therapeutic devices.

Roughly two thirds of EP Limited's funding has come from NIH SBIR grants and one third has come from commercial consulting.  These research projects, have included the development of a laser based cardiac output monitor, an improved RF ablation technology for the treatment of liver tumors, and a technology for the reduction of motion artifact in ECG recordings.

Commercial consulting activities have included the development of a handgrip based heart rate monitor for exercise equipment, software analysis for medical device patent litigation, and project management for the development of a catheter based device.
